Key Stage 4 Curriculum – Years 9, 10 and 11

Year 9

Core Provision

Students will have 4 lessons for English, 3 lessons each for Maths and Science and  2 lessons for PE/Dance. Students will have 4 option choices.

Options Offer

All students must pick one of the darker shaded subjects as first choice in at least one of the blocks ensuring they have the right mixture of E-bac subjects to meet progress 8 measure.

Core Provision

English, Maths and Science will have 4 lessons per week. PE will have 1 lesson and 1 lesson dedicated to ICT / intervention.

Options Offer

The following courses will be on offer within our consortium.  The joint 'Central 6th' blocks will be used to a schedule courses which will enable students to access specialist courses within the partnership wide offer to meet specific individual needs.
