Info, Advice & Guidance (IAG)
Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) + Careers, Education Guidance (CEG)
Coppice Performing Arts School is committed to maximising the benefits for every student in the development of a whole school approach to independent Careers Education Guidance (CEG) and Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG).
The school recognises that there should be IAG for all students, and more for particular groups, such as vulnerable learners and at key transition points in education, such as options. Coppice Performing Arts School wishes to promote CEG & IAG as part of the learning entitlement for all students and as a means for learning 'about work', learning 'through work' and learning 'for work' so as to help guide choices and pathways.
Students have access to impartial careers advice and guidance through our close partnership with Connexions. The school works in partnership with Dudley Connexions Service to provide independent Career Advice and Guidance for all students:

It is extremely important to us that students and parents are aware of the system in place at Coppice should they need advice and guidance. Our aim is to ensure that the students and parents needs are addressed quickly and effectively by the relevant member of staff.
