Advice and Guidance
Our Aim
It is extremely important to us that students and parents are aware of the system in place at Coppice should they need advice and guidance or in the event of raising a concern or complaint. Our aim is to ensure that the students and parents needs are addressed quickly and effectively by the relevant member of staff.
What to do if I need advice, have a concern or wish to make a complaint?
The best person to contact is your child's ACADEMIC TUTOR, Head of House, Assistant Head of House or House Manager:
- Head of Chillington - Mrs K Rhodes
Assistant Head of Chillington - Mrs G Fitzgerald - Head of Moseley - Mr M Dodd
Assistant Head of Moseley - Miss L Willetts - Head of Whitwick - Mr M Dowson
Assistant Head of Whitwick - Mrs L Holdcroft - Head of Bantock - Miss S McKenna
Assistant Head of Bantock - Mr C Rowley - Head of Sixth Form - Mrs H Corfield
- House Managers - Ms R Carnall and Mr R Wheeler
How can I express a concern or make a complaint?
- Write a comment in your child's planner. There is space for parents' comments each week.
- Telephone the school on 01902 558500.
- Write a letter to the appropriate person or click here to contact us via the web site.
- In an emergency, come directly to school. As the appropriate member of staff may be teaching or involved in duties, a telephone call to let us know you are coming will help avoid unnecessary waiting.
We will:
- Investigate your concern properly; See you in private;
- Normally respond within 2 days to telephone or written complaints;
- Keep you informed of progress.
Most problems are sorted out in this way. In the unlikely event of an unresolved problem, you have the right to contact:
