Parents' Forum
The Parents' Forum was set up to give parents a voice about issues that affect their children here at Coppice. Meetings are every half-term and last for approximately seventy five minutes in an informal atmosphere with refreshments available. Each meeting provides opportunities to raise items for discussion and the minutes of every meeting are seen by the school's management team and each point given consideration. The Parents' Forum is in its second year now and the opinions of the parents have had an influence on school practices.
Items addressed and influenced by Parents' Form include:
- Student reporting system
- Parent consultation meetings
- School texting service
- School/parent communication
- Student rewards
- Community links with Ashmore Park Library
