Coppice Performing Arts School is part of the Central Learning Partnership Trust. CLPT is a highly, successful medium sized multi academy trust with schools in Wolverhampton and Rotherham. Our success to date has led to us being asked, by the RSC West Midlands, to sponsor other schools in our present location and to establish a presence in other areas in the region.

From January 2019 (or earlier if possible), we are looking to appoint an exceptional classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching French to join our successful MFL department at Coppice Performing Arts School. This post is suitable a newly qualified teacher, as a full induction and support programme is provided during the NQT year. This post will also suit an experienced teacher wishing to further develop their career as professional development opportunities are available for an outstanding candidate.

You will be an innovative and creative teacher with a student centred vision. You will have ambition, energy and drive to provide our students with exciting and challenging lessons in French. In Key Stage 4 French is studied at GCSE.

Coppice is an inclusive school and the successful candidate will be committed to providing learning to meet the needs of all abilities, so enabling each child to achieve their personal best. In addition, you will be fully committed to the professional development of all staff within your area and in the wider school.

From January 2019 (or earlier if possible), we are looking to appoint an exceptional classroom practitioner with a passion and experience of teaching KS3 core PE and KS4 / KS5 at BTEC to join our successful PE department at Coppice Performing Arts School. This post is suitable for an newly qualified teacher, as a full induction and support programme is provided during the NQT year. This post will also suit an experienced teacher wishing to further develop their career as professional development opportunities are available for an outstanding candidate. Experience of Duke of Edinburgh would be desirable. The PE Department is housed within the Performance Zone, which includes specialist sports hall, gym suite and outdoor grass and astro-turf areas.

You will be an innovative and creative teacher with a student centred vision. You will have ambition, energy and drive to provide our students with exciting and challenging lessons in Physical Education as well as being part of our extra-curricular provision. In Key Stage 4, BTEC Level 2 First Award in Sport, OCR Cambridge National in Sport and SLUK Award (Sport Leaders UK) are studied. BTEC Extended Certificate and National Diploma in Sport is studied at post 16.

Learning Support Assistant

NJC Scale 2/3 – £17,007 – £18,672 FTE, pro-rata to term time only

30 – 37 hours per week

Heath Park and Coppice Performing Arts School are secondary schools within the Central Learning Partnership Trust (CLPT). We are unrelenting in our determination to provide the highest quality learning experiences for our students and so this is an exciting opportunity if you are an ambitious, high calibre professional.

We are seeking to appoint compassionate, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants who have the experience and expertise to enhance the learning of different groups of pupils and support some of our most vulnerable learners to access all areas of the curriculum and enrichment despite the challenges they face.

The successful candidate will need to be:

  • a self-motivated individual and dedicated to supporting both groups and individual students
  • able to effectively work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents alike
  • have high expectations of themselves and others
  • committed work in a school that is committed to continuous school improvement and provides outstanding quality teaching and learning

Applicants must have:

  • Level 2 qualifications, A* – C, including English and Maths is essential
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good time management skills, be well organised and competent

In addition but not essential:

  • Past experience of working in a school environment would be an asset but is not a pre-requisite
  • Some experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs or Autism Spectrum Disorder would be ideal but not essential

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with individual pupils, groups or whole classes
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to communicate key information, plan, deliver and support pupil provision
  • Liaising with parents/carers and external agencies

The Central Learning Partnership Trust offer exciting opportunities for graduates with further training and possible access to the initial teacher training programme, candidates will ideally hold a good Honours Degree, which is desirable but not essential
